Columbia, MD is a planned community of nine villages located between Baltimore (20-30 minutes by car) and Washington, DC (30-40 minutes by car). Since 1967, over 14,000 acres have been developed into residences, shopping and recreational areas. More than 5300 acres have been designated as permanent open spaces.

Columbia has evolved into a 96,000 person city with something for everyone including a number of annual festivals and year round performances and events.
