| Apartment life
in Capitol Hill
Congressmen, journalists, staffers and many
who simply admire the well maintained townhomes dating from
the late 19th and early 20th centuries live here. Not surprisingly,
the rents are expensive so many share houses. Homes near Stanton
Park are somewhat more affordable.
Numerous restaurants and taverns service Capitol
Hill's residents who are eager to share gossip after a long
day on the Hill.
Unfortunately, this neighborhood is not immune
to the crime and drug trafficing seen in so many Washington
DC neighborhoods, so shop carefully.
